Godly relationships
I keep coming back to this episode: Red Flags In Godly Relationships by Her and Jesus. It’s full of golden nuggets, and it’s something I wish I’d known before I really started my journey with Christ. Hindsight is a bittersweet thing.
I fear this isn’t spoken about enough. The red flags when dating as a Christian. We talk about purity and prayer, but not about how to tell the difference between someone leading you toward God and someone using God to lead you somewhere else.
I know what it’s like to date without healthy counsel. When you don’t have healthy examples of relationships around you, and no one you can safely ask “is this normal?”, you learn to trust the wrong things. You learn to trust the person, instead of the pattern.
So this is for anyone who’s ever wondered if something was off but didn’t have the language for it. Listen to the episode. Share it with someone you think might need it.
